Job summary

Diverzify+ is hiring a Warehouse Associate/Driver in Nashville to load/unload trucks, pull and tag materials, and prepare outbound shipments. You’ll use scanning tech, maintain safety, and contribute to team goals. A strong work ethic and basic math for unit conversions are valued.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, DOT program completion, ability to lift 50 lb, forklift experience, and basic MS Office skills. Steel-toe boots required; 1 year sit-down forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• DOT regulated role and may involve operating company vehicles; completion of Diverzify’s DOT Program required before start.
• Must be able to regularly lift, carry, or move products weighing 50 pounds unassisted.
• Steel toe or composite toe boots are required.
• Minimum 1 year sit-down forklift experience.
• Basic PC skills with knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and offload palletized and hand-carried materials to construction sites.
• Load and unload trucks and inspect product for accuracy.
• Pull materials according to picking tickets and verify quantities.
• Tag inbound material and use RF Scanner to scan to appropriate locations.
• Organize outbound material in proper staging areas and restack as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow procedures.
• Contribute to team effort and perform related results as needed.
• Perform simple math conversions to understand units of measure.

They ensure product accuracy, maintain a clean and safe work environment, follow organizational standards, and use problem-solving skills as needed. The role also involves contributing to team goals and performing basic math for unit conversions.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver and offload palletized and hand-carried materials to construction sites.
• Load and unload trucks and inspect product for accuracy.
• Properly pull materials according to picking tickets by checking manufacture tags, warehouse tags and using logic and problem-solving skills when a problem should arise.
• Tag inbound material and use RF Scanner to scan inbound material to appropriate locations and verify quantities are accurate.
• Organize outbound material in proper staging areas; this frequently includes restacking materials from larger pallets onto smaller pallets.
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, staging areas, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping. supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Perform simple math conversions to understand units of measure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent experience in a similar role).
• This role is DOT (U.S. Department of Transportation) regulated and may involve operating company vehicles to complete deliveries. Upon hire, you will be required to complete Diverzify’s DOT Program BEFORE you are authorized to begin work.
• Ability to utilize Type II and VII forklifts.
• Must be able to regularly lift, carry, or move products weighing 50 pounds unassisted. Typically bends, stoops, and/or crouches on a regular basis from various heights to stock or remove products. Must be able to climb steps.
• Steel toe or composite toe boots are required.
• Minimum 1 year sit down forklift experience.
• Basic PC skills with knowledge of MS Office Products.
