Job summary

Johnstone Supply | Balsan Group in Lowell, MA is seeking a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join a fast-growing HVACR distributor. You will safely operate a 26-ft box truck, perform on-time deliveries, and support warehouse operations with RF scanners.

The role combines hands-on driving and warehouse tasks, with opportunities to grow in a team-focused culture. You should have a valid license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 75+ lbs, with training and advancement available.

Qualifications

• Experience driving 26-ft box trucks (required or strongly preferred).
• DOT experience or willingness to operate under DOT standards.
• Warehouse and delivery experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-ft box truck to deliver HVAC equipment and parts.
• Ensure on-time deliveries to customers and job sites.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain delivery paperwork (receipts, logs, confirmations).
• Pick, pack, and stage orders using RF scanners.
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and equipment.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts.

What You’ll Do

Delivery & Driving

• Safely operate a 26-ft box truck to deliver HVAC equipment and parts
• Ensure accurate, on-time deliveries to customers and job sites
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly
• Maintain delivery paperwork (receipts, logs, confirmations)
• Represent the company professionally at every stop—customer relationships matter here

Warehouse Support

• Pick, pack, and stage orders using RF scanners
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and organization
• Help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and running smoothly

Safety & Standards

• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized equipment and workspace
• Take ownership—if it’s in front of you, you handle it

What We’re Looking For
