Job summary

Johnstone Supply | Balsan Group is seeking a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate in Maryland to support HVAC equipment delivery and warehouse operations. You will drive a 26-ft box truck, handle loading/unloading, and uphold safety and accuracy in every delivery.

Ideal candidates have experience with box trucks, DOT standards, and a reliable driving record, with the ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced setting. Growth opportunities exist within a growing distributor.

Qualifications

• Experience driving a 26-ft box truck (required or strongly preferred).
• DOT experience or willingness to work under DOT standards.
• Warehouse and delivery experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-ft box truck to deliver HVAC equipment and parts.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely.
• Ensure accurate, on-time deliveries to customers and job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain delivery paperwork (receipts, logs, confirmations).
• Represent the company professionally at every stop.

What You’ll Do

Delivery & Driving

• Safely operate a 26-ft box truck to deliver HVAC equipment and parts
• Ensure accurate, on-time deliveries to customers and job sites
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly
• Maintain delivery paperwork (receipts, logs, confirmations)
• Represent the company professionally at every stop—customer relationships matter here

Warehouse Support

• Pick, pack, and stage orders using RF scanners
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and organization
• Help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and running smoothly

Safety & Standards

• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized equipment and workspace
• Take ownership—if it’s in front of you, you handle it

What We’re Looking For

• Experience driving 26-ft box trucks (required or strongly preferred)

• Ability to lift 75+ lbs
