Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Warehouse Driver to operate company vehicles for local orders and equipment delivery. You will plan efficient routes, support warehouse tasks at the branch, and ensure safe handling of items with proper signatures.

The role requires reading delivery instructions, basic math, and light warehouse duties. A valid driver’s license and DOT/Medical Card are essential, with training and certifications provided on hire.

• Perform basic math and ledger documentation.
• Capable of basic computer tasks for deliveries and inventory.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; DOT/Medical Card as required.

SUMMARY:Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Driver operates a company vehicle to pick upand deliver local orders and equipment. This role arranges the most efficient route. TheWarehouse Driver also provides warehouse support at the branch location as needed.JOB DUTIESOperates company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment as required.Sorts assignments and arranges the most efficient route.Maintains Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer locations.Organizes products in reverse delivery order and loads in delivery vehicle.Unloads products at customer location and obtains customer signature on packing slip to show proof of delivery.Determines which items need to be picked, checked and shipped from sales order.Prepares items for delivery to customer.Secures packages to make sure no items are damaged in shipping to customer.May assist with restocking of products on shelves.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCETypically requires a high school diploma or GED.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIESAbility to read and interpret packing slips and delivery instructions.Ability to document any information obtained from customer during delivery.Basic math and reading comprehension skills.Basic computer skills.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to move up to 100lbs and lift up to 50 lbs.LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:Valid driver’s license and annual review of driving record.Road test is required upon hire.
