R.E. Michel Company in Garner, NC is hiring for a Warehouse/Driver role. The position is full-time, non-exempt, reporting to the Branch Manager, with daily deliveries and order fulfillment in a fast-paced HVACR distribution environment.

You will operate material handling equipment, ensure safe driving records and DOT compliance, provide friendly customer service, and work with your team to keep branch operations smooth. Local candidates preferred; lifting and physical tasks required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory 5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (18+).
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
• Basic understanding of HVACR systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Work Environment:
