Job summary

The ICEE Company seeks a Warehouse Driver to support daily warehouse operations and, when needed, back up Route Sales Drivers. You will handle receiving/shipping, inventory, POS upkeep, and order pulling while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Uniforms are provided and a vehicle, phone, tablet, and gas card are furnished when performing Route Sales duties. Candidate must have a high school diploma, be at least 21, possess a valid license, and be able to lift 55 lbs or more regularly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old due to DOT requirements.
• Preferred two (2) years customer service and/or warehouse experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. or more on a regular basis; occasional lifting in excess of 70 lbs. required.
• Ability to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; steel-toed shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Receives and ships packages utilizing UPS, DHL, FedEx, and other carriers as needed.
• Assists in the loading of ICEE delivery trucks ensuring that they are equipped with ICEE product, current promotional stock, and POS (Point of Sale).
• Maintains organization of POS for the Route Sales team.
• Boxes and palletizes product, and equipment for shipment.
• Pulls orders for distributor pickup.
• Maintains daily and weekly inventory logs.
• Fills-in for Route Sales Drivers as needed; see Route Sales Driver description for details.
• Performs assigned general warehouse duties including cleaning, maintaining restrooms, organizing, rotating product, shipping and receiving of equipment, parts, and product.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of theoperations leadership,the Warehouse Driver ensures that The ICEE Company is always represented in a professional and courteous manner. Customer service is always capitalized at ICEE, and we have a commitment to success to not only ourCustomersbut also our partners and our peers. The Warehouse Driver will be held to a high standard of service with both internal team members and external customers. The Warehouse Driver performs all aspects of the day-to-day functions within the Service Center warehouse. Additionally, the Warehouse Driver acts as a back-up Route Sales Driver as needed to support customer needs.Team membersin this role are provided with uniforms and, when acting as a Route Sales Driver, a vehicle to complete their route, cell phone, tablet, and gas card.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

COMPETENCIES:

To perform this job successfully, theWarehouseDrivermust be self-motivated and have the ability to stay on task with minimal to no supervision. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• Must be able to successfully maintain customer relations, interpersonal relationships, team relations,and service.


• Excellent organization and time management skills.


• Must be a self-starter and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.


• Great oral and written communication skills. Must be comfortable performing basic mathematical functions as well.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Must be at least 21 years of age due to DOT requirements.


• Preferredtwo (2) yearscustomerservice and/orwarehouseexperience.


• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.


• Ability to lift 55 lbs. or more on a regular basis. Occasional lifting in excess of 70 lbs. required.

$22 - $22 USD
