Job summary

R.E. Michel Company in Bluffton, SC is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Driver to safely operate equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and deliver to customer locations.

You will provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean driving record, and adhere to DOT regulations while collaborating with the team to ensure smooth branch operations.

Job Title: Warehouse/Driver
Full Time/Non-Exempt
Location: Bluffton, SC
Reports To: Branch Manager

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Work Environment:

Join a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Expect a dynamic atmosphere with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures. Safety is paramount in this role, which may require physical exertion, including bending, climbing, and lifting. This is a safety sensitive position.
