Job summary

R.E. Michel Company in Asheville, NC is seeking a Warehouse/Driver to operate material handling equipment and vehicles, fulfill orders, and make deliveries to customer locations.

You will provide excellent customer service, maintain a safe driving record, and comply with DOT regulations while collaborating with the team to ensure smooth branch operations. Some weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (must be at least 18)
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays

Reports To: Branch Manager

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Requirements:

Work Environment:
