Job summary

R.E. Michel Company in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Warehouse/Driver to support fast-paced branch operations. This full-time, non-exempt role involves delivering HVACR equipment, loading and unloading, and providing excellent customer service at customer sites.

You will operate material handling equipment, maintain a clean driving record in line with DOT requirements, and collaborate with staff to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.


• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.


• Maintain a satisfactory driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.


• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.


• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.


• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.


• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.


• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Requirements:

Work Environment:
