Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Kansas is seeking a Warehouse Donation Attendant in Wichita to support dock operations, including loading, unloading, and moving merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will work under the Store Manager, ensure safety, and help maintain an efficient donation flow while upholding Goodwill's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Experience handling donations and customer interactions is preferred.
• Ability to move and sort donated items safely and accurately.
• Strong written and verbal communication for team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Answers donation door in a professional manner and greets customers.
• Unloads donations and sorts items for storage or delivery.
• Loads materials for store deliveries and moves items in/out of the warehouse.
• Operates waste/compactor; cleans dock area at day end.

JOB COMPETENCIES: Answers donation door greets customers and unloads donations. Sorts donations for in-house storage and load material for store deliveries. Moves materials in or out of the warehouse and operates trash compactor. Cleans work area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Donation door mustbe answered in a professional manner and within 10 seconds.
• Locate unloaded material in proper placesin warehouse .
• To load material for store deliveries and make deliveries.
• To move materials in or out of warehouse,asrequired.
• Move trashto compactor asneeded.
• Cleans dock areaduring last 7minutes of workday.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to all safety policiesand reports violations.
• Supportmission statement andactivities of other departments.
• Support the accessibility of our services and facilities free of architectural, attitudinal, environmental, financial, communication,transportation,employmentandother barriers to person with disabilities and barriers to employment.
• Adhere to allethical standard andconfidentiality of records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
