Job summary

S.P. Richards Company in Houston is seeking a Warehouse/Distribution: FT Stocker/Associate/Fulfillment to stock business products accurately and safely throughout the warehouse.

Location: NW Houston. Hourly rate starts at $19/hr and goes up to $22.08 after 12 months. Typical schedule is 5 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday with some weekends.

Qualifications

• Capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise onto assigned shelves accurately and promptly.
• Replenish shelves as required and maintain housekeeping.
• Operate RF scanning equipment; use forklift with certification when needed.
• Follow safety rules and report any hazards to supervisor.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and space requirements.

Summary:

To stock business products accurately, promptly, and safely throughout the warehouse. Crown/Raymond Reach and Order Selector exp. is a plus.

Location: NW Houston

Hourly Rate: Starting $19/hr up to $22.08 after 12 months of employment

Standard Work Hours: Monday through Friday, some weekends; 5AM to 1:30PM or until the job is done,

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Stock merchandise received from the manufacturer onto assigned shelf.
• Replenish shelves as required.
• Operation of RF scanning equipment is required
• Adherence to the Stockroom Housekeeping Policy of facility and specific product line area is required.
• Accuracy in repetitive routine is very important while maintaining good speed.
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules including the handling of hazardous materials.
• Occasional use of forklift - certification required.
• Monitor and report to supervisor the minimum and/or maximum space requirements of stocking locations.

Qualifications

Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing product numbers and line codes to insure proper retrieval of product for shipment, including identifying sequence of numbers and letters accurately and rapidly.

Education/Experience:
