Job summary

Lennox in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Distribution Associate to handle the shipment and receipt of materials and finished products. You will verify goods, pack correctly, and record movements while maintaining accurate records. This is an on-site, hourly position with regular M-F hours.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year of related experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Forklift certification is preferred and a valid driver’s license may be required.

What Drives Success

This distribution associate performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Receive goods, verify items against the shipment record, and inspect condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and the chosen transportation method.
• Record received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation.
• 7:30 to 4:30pm work hours on M to F

What We Are Looking For

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
• Prefer forklift certification.
• Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
• Requires basic reading, writing, and numerical ability.
• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record may be required.
• Able to operate powered equipment such as a forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

What We Offer

Compensation:This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $19 to 23.50hr. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
