Position Summary

The Warehouse & Delivery Support Associate is a cross-functional role responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, assisting with delivery logistics, and performing deliveries as needed. This position helps ensure products are received, stored, picked, staged, and delivered accurately. Responsibilities include tracking shipments, communicating with drivers and customers, resolving delivery issues, loading/unloading trucks, verifying orders, and safely delivering appliances to homes and businesses. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer service, and physical stamina are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, processing, storing, and distributing products.
  • Receive and process incoming shipments; verify quantities, condition, and shipment accuracy.
  • Pick, pack, and stage orders for delivery, will-call, or transfer.
  • Organize inventory and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse workspace.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks and securing product for transport.
  • Support stock management activities as assigned (restocking, location organization, basic inventory support).
  • Track shipments and coordinate delivery logistics to support timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Communicate with drivers, dispatch, customer service, and customers regarding schedules, updates, and delivery status.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve delivery issues; elevate when needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform delivery driving duties as needed, including safe transport of appliances to customer homes or businesses.
  • Load, unload, and move appliances safely; inspect product for damage and verify orders at delivery.
  • Provide a professional, customer-focused experience at job sites and during deliveries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and delivery operations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Warehouse, delivery, logistics, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Customer-service mindset with the ability to remain professional when resolving issues.
  • Basic computer skills (ability to learn delivery tracking, scanning, or inventory systems).
  • Basic understanding of safe handling practices for large/heavy items preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements (if driving is required for the role).
  • DOT Medical Certificate (Medical Card) may be required based on assigned vehicle and driving duties; employee must be able to obtain and maintain any required certifications.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Work performed in a warehouse environment and at customer delivery sites.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to safely handle large, heavy items (including appliances) with proper equipment/assistance as applicable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain physical stamina throughout the shift.
