Job summary

DiVal Safety Equipment in Houston, TX is seeking a General Warehouse Associate/Driver. The role requires safe handling of warehouse duties, order picking/packing/shipping, and occasional box truck delivery from the Houston site.

The position is full-time with benefits, including medical, 401K, PTO, and life insurance. Candidates should be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and pass a drug screen, with basic computer skills and prior warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
• Experience driving a box truck preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Always focus on safety in all activities.
• Perform picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and stocking (60%–80%).
• Load and deliver products on scheduled routes using a 26’ box truck (20%–40%).
• Prepare and submit daily paperwork in a timely manner.
• Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report issues to supervisor.
• Report safety concerns to management.
• Support warehouse supervisors and other team members as needed.
