Job summary

DiVal Safety Equipment in Ft. Lauderdale, FL seeks a General Warehouse Associate/Driver to support warehouse operations and community with on-time deliveries. Responsibilities include picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and stock put-away, plus route deliveries using a 26’ box truck (non-CDL).

Strong organizational and time-management skills are required along with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A valid driver’s license and forklift/pallet jack experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to organize and manage tasks efficiently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.
• Valid driver’s license required for routes.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Preferred: box truck delivery experience and handheld tech like RF scanners.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as a top priority in all tasks.
• Perform picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and stock put-away.
• Load and deliver product on scheduled routes with a 26’ box truck (non-CDL).
• Prepare and file daily paperwork promptly.
• Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Do daily vehicle inspections and report issues to supervisor.
• Report safety concerns to management.
• Work under Warehouse Supervisors and coordinate with the team.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management.
