Job summary

Trilogy MedWaste is seeking a Warehouse Associate / Backup Driver in Elk Grove, CA. You will handle loading/unloading, route collection, and regulatory compliance while maintaining safety and efficiency in a production environment.

The role requires forklift operation, data entry on mobile devices, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with occasional heavy cart handling. DOT licensing and MEC could be required depending on route needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Good driving record within 3 years; no accidents.
• Pleasant demeanor with coworkers, customers, vendors and regulators.
• Must use computer for data entry.
• Must use mobile app for manifest documentation.
• Lifting, walking, bending, climbing, pulling and pushing required.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy carts.
• Barcode scanning & inventory knowledge.
• Hazardous Materials and OSHA regulations knowledge.
• Operate powered industrial truck (forklift).
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Adapt to changing business demands.
• Meet DOT and licensing requirements.
• Valid driver’s license (Class C or higher).
• Medical Examiner’s Card (MEC) required.
• Quickly grasp and adapt to new tasks.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load vehicles.
• Unload and load processing equipment.
• Scan waste and weigh accurately.
• Ensure container type and manifest are 100% accurate.
• Prepare records of receiving and production as needed.
• Safety and regulatory compliance.
• Complete training as required.
• Review and sign manifests and shipping papers.
• Load and secure materials for transport.
• Operate wash unit and inspect tubs.
• Inspect and stack clean tubs for loading.
• Maintain clean and dry work area; address spills.
• Collect containers from health care offices.
• Drive to customer locations on assigned routes.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain Driver’s Hours of Service log.
• Provide customer training on manifesting and packaging.
