Job summary

Theuniversityunion in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive merchandise and fulfill customer orders in a safe, efficient manner within our warehouse. This role may serve as back-up driver, operating vans and non-CDL vehicles to transport goods to customer locations.

Responsibilities include handling boxes, unloading inbound merchandise, using RF scanners, locating and picking items, maintaining clean work areas, supporting inventory counts, and reporting vehicle issues.

Qualifications

• Must possess a clean driving record.
• Ability to become forklift certified.
• Prior warehouse, delivery and forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload merchandise from suppliers and prepare for storage.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Utilize RF scanners for receiving, put-away, picking and inventory checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse while following procedures.
• Assist in loading and unloading at customer sites for local deliveries.
• Report vehicle and equipment issues to supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
