Job summary

Newport-Mesa Unified School District is seeking a Warehouse Worker II/Delivery Driver to support the Purchasing and Warehouse Department. The role runs 8 hours per day (6:00 a.m.

- 2:30 p.m.), 5 days per week, 12 months per year, performing inventory, receiving, packing and delivering goods to district sites. Responsibilities include managing stock, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring accurate records and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience driving light trucks or working in a warehouse.
• Valid California Class C driver's license.
• Valid forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare and distribute mail, materials, supplies, food and equipment to district locations.
• Drive a vehicle to deliver goods and maintain vehicle safety checks.
• Monitor and update inventory; rotate stock and ensure accuracy of records.
• Greet visitors and coordinate pickup/delivery of orders.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
