Job summary

State Electric Supply Co. is seeking a Warehouse Associate / Backup Driver for the Raleigh, NC area. You will help with receiving, organizing, picking, and preparing products while also serving as a backup driver for local deliveries.

This warehouse-first role offers opportunities to learn electrical distribution skills, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and support the branch with daily operations. A strong team attitude helps you succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving products and materials.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Check in merchandise and verify incoming products.
• Sort and place products on racks, shelves, or in bins according to established organization and product codes.
• Pick and prepare products for customer orders and shipment.
• Prepare parcels and materials for mailing or delivery.
• Pull and cut wire to specified lengths as needed.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment after completing required training.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Serve as a backup driver for local customer deliveries when needed, using company-owned vans or box trucks.
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers during deliveries and complete required delivery documentation.
