Description

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Benefits: All eligible full-time employees will receive Paid Annual Leave (PAL) starting at 23 days per year, increasing by one day per year after one full calendar year of employment. Benefits include health coverage, employer-paid short and long-term disability, and life insurance. All employees can participate in the Delphinus Engineering 401(k) with a 25% company match up to 10% deferred.

Position Overview

Experienced Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our team for daily warehouse deliveries and operations. Responsibilities include pulling inventory, loading/unloading trucks, storing materials, and order picking/packing. The goal is to enhance organization, efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Make deliveries on Military bases as needed.
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
• Perform inventory controls and maintain quality standards for audits.
• Verify received materials against Job Material Lists (JML) and procurement data.
• Perform receipt inspection and identification of government and contractor furnished materials.
• Prepare stored materials for shipment upon request.
• Manage excess materials for reuse or disposal as directed.
• Maintain clean, secure, and environmentally controlled storage spaces.
• Ensure a safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Complete inventory logs.
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement programs and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager/Assistant Manager.

Experience and Requirements

• Proven experience as a warehouse delivery driver/worker.
• Knowledge of modern warehousing practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Punctual, reliable, detail-oriented.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (MVR required).
• High school diploma.
• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to secure and maintain a DBIDS card for Military Base access.
• Understanding of Hull Mechanical & Electrical work is a plus.
• Physical ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, and lift.
• Medium work exertion: up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly.
