Job Description

Join a highly respected family-owned business that appreciates its staff members. Javets Inc is a building material supplier in its 37th year that needs help in the warehouse right away! We distribute decking, railing, siding, windows, doors and other building materials to home improvement and commercial contractors and builders. If you are hard-working and dependable, apply and see why our staff hires in and stays!

Successful candidate will perform a wide variety of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and assembling materials for delivery to customers or for customer pick-up and keeping warehouse clean and safe. Duties will vary daily. Accuracy and excellent customer service must be constant.

Hours: Monday thru Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (May be required to start earlier on occasion in busy season.)

Items being moved vary by size and weight. Some weighing 100lbs. Forklift experience is helpful.

Requirements:

Able to pass a Background Screening Forklift experience or ability to learn how to drive a forklift You must be able to lift and carry 100lbs unaided You will be working outside often You must be able to distinguish between colors of product You must be able to perform basic math and have a high school diploma or equivalent. You must be agile, able to be on your feet for most of the day, bend, stoop and use a step ladder. You must hold a valid driver's license. Must be able to work on your own and with others as part of a team in fast paced environment
