Pay Rate $18.00 an hour**Essential Job Duties*** Receives labels from the supervisor for parts (may include PBE product) to be pulled for the assigned route.* Pulls parts and/or PBE products from the appropriate bins and delivers them to the staging area for loading.* Operates a forklift or order selector to transport parts in and about the warehouse.* Loads truck or company vehicle according to the delivery schedule and performs a final check-off of parts loaded.* Sorts and places parts and supplies on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence.* Respond to customer counter sales immediately by receiving orders, pulling products and loading them into the customer vehicle.* Verifies in-stock position on product for inside sales staff.* Drives a company box truck or company vehicle to deliver salvage parts and/or PBE products to customer locations.* Physically loads truck or company vehicle at the branch and verifies the condition of the truck or company vehicle, manifest and other paperwork associated with deliveries to be made.* Drives to the delivery destination and physically unloads truck or company vehicle and verifies parts unloaded. Picks up returned parts and/or PBE products and collects customer payments as necessary.* Assume other duties as assigned.**Supervisory Responsibilities*** Not responsible for supervising employees.**Basic Qualifications** **Education & Experience*** 6+ months of related warehouse experience.* Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.* Must qualify for Corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance.* Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.* Must be at least 21 years of age.* Must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation (“DOT”) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (“FMCSA”) regulations. **Preferred Qualifications*** High school graduate or GED equivalent.* Forklift certification/experience and knowledge of RF scanners are helpful. **Knowledge/Skills/Abilities*** Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.* Basic computer skills.* Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills. May train others in functional areas, interact with others and make presentations to department or middle management.* Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.* Decisions generally affect one’s own job or assigned functional area.* Results are defined and existing practices are used as guidelines for how to complete work activities; works closely with supervisor/manager who provides broad guidance and overall direction.* Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager. **Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment*** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to drive a vehicle most of the time.* Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods (up to 12 hours at a time); use hands to operate machinery.* May need to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods.* The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.* Frequent exposure to contaminants such as fuel or exhaust.
