Job summary

MacArthur Co., a 100% employee-owned distributor of building materials, is seeking a Warehouse & Delivery Driver to stock and prepare orders for distribution to customers. You will work in both indoor and outdoor settings, emphasizing safety and accuracy of orders.

As a Warehouse & Delivery Driver, you will follow a daily schedule, load and unload materials, and ensure quality control. The ideal candidate is 21+, has a valid license and clean driving record, can lift 40–70 lbs, and

Responsibilities

• Efficiently & accurately organize & transport building materials using equipment
• Follow a daily operations schedule and adjust to customer needs
• Banding, wrapping, or packaging material for shipping on trucks & trailers
• Organize and clean warehouse and yard work areas as needed
• Attention to detail with high accuracy in work quality
• Work independently while supporting teamwork in a larger group
• Make decisions within clear guidelines with team and management support

As a Warehouse & Delivery Driver, you will execute operations by stocking & preparing orders of building materials for distribution to a network of customers. Customer service and team-oriented focus are of utmost importance. Your work environment will consist of both inside and outside work areas. Each type of loading and unloading requires strict attention to safety and accuracy of orders. This position requires well-defined, detailed work while producing repeatable and consistently accurate results. An ideal candidate will prefer a steady work style and enjoy executing clear objectives in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently & accurately organize & transport building materials using a variety of equipment
• Follow a daily operations schedule, with an ability to adjust to customer needs
• Banding, wrapping, or packaging material for shipping on commercial trucks & trailers
• Organize and clean both the warehouse and yard work areas as needed
• Attention to detail, with better-than-average accuracy in the quality of the work
• Focus on working comfortably under close supervision within a stable, secure team
• Decision-making within clear guidelines & with support of the fellow team & management

Job Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening
• Qualified driving record and valid driver's license
• Able to lift 40-70 pounds throughout the workday
