Job summary

Priority Tire offers a Warehouse Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) role at our Belmont, NC location. You will deliver from our warehouse to wholesale customers and assist with warehouse duties, including receiving, storing, and inventory management. A strong emphasis on professional customer service and safe driving is required.

The role includes daily driving, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to DOT/OSHA regulations, with opportunities for growth within a fast-paced, casual environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving history.
• Able to lift 25-75 lbs and perform repetitive bending and standing.
• Excellent English communication and customer service skills.
• 1+ years of warehouse or delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and pull orders for delivery.
• Load vehicles and ensure secure transport.
• Deliver products to customer locations and unload them.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and check tires, fuel, oil, safety features.
• Verify and manage invoices, purchase orders, payments, and receipts.
• Collect and manage all payments and protocols per policy.
• Assist with warehouse duties including receiving, storing, and inventory counts.
• Follow DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Occasionally perform heavy lifting.

Job Overview:

As a Warehouse Delivery Driver, you are a critical team member responsible for timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining professional customer interactions, and assisting with warehouse operations. You'll drive a company vehicle along assigned routes and return home every evening.

In addition to deliveries, you will assist with tire distribution within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and pull orders for delivery.
• Load vehicles and ensure secure transport.
• Deliver products to customer locations and unload them in designated areas.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries.
• Maintain delivery vehicles, checking tires, fuel, oil, and safety features.
• Verify and manage invoices, purchase orders, payments, and receipts.
• Collect and manage all payments and protocols according to company policy.
• Assist with warehouse duties, including receiving, storing, picking, and inventory counts.
• Follow all safety, DOT, and OSHA regulations.
• Perform additional duties, including occasional heavy lifting.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of Driving a box truck, light van, or delivery car (required)
• 2+ years of Route delivery experience (preferred).
• 1+ years in a Customer service position (preferred).
• 1+ years of Warehouse experience (preferred).

Qualifications:

• 25 years or older with a valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving history (required).
• Safe driving record with knowledge of traffic laws.
• Ability to convey complex information in clear, concise English is a must.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Must lift 25-75 lbs and be comfortable with frequent bending, twisting, and prolonged sitting.

Schedule:

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or until completion of deliveries.
• 8-10-hour shifts vary on a four or five day a week schedule (Typically Delivery Days: Monday - Saturday).
