Position Overview:
This Warehouse Delivery Driver/Inventory Management Representative is responsible for setting up and maintaining our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Programs, also known as CPS Programs, at our customers' facilities. The IMR delivers and organizes products, maintains a clean and organized CPS Program (including racks, bins, signage), and provides high-quality customer service to support the customer on-site.
Pay:
$22/hr
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Scan and stock inventory at the customer's location, fill bins, and maintain proper inventory levels with minimal excess.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues related to C-Parts Solutions (CPS) business.
- Build and sustain professional, positive customer relationships.
- Transport products to customers.
- Place orders to replenish customer inventory.
- Deliver products accurately to bins, organize inventory per requirements.
- Address and communicate customer concerns to relevant departments.
- Identify and forward leads for additional products Wurth can supply.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and CPS racks/bins.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements such as bin quantities, new parts, and inventory turns.
- Follow all Fleet Policies and Procedures.
- Improve operational productivity and efficiency continuously.
- Perform responsibilities safely, report hazards, and maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Experience with VMI programs, customer service, driving, or similar roles is a plus.
- Valid driver's license, current DOT Medical Certificate, and a clean driving record. Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to develop positive customer relationships, respond promptly, and manage difficult situations.
- Team player, adaptable to change.
- Self-starter, able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to interpret documents and instructions quickly.
- Basic math skills.
- Forklift certification (must pass training and maintain certification).
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., frequent lifting of 40-60 lbs., and stand/walk for 8-10 hours.
- Work conditions vary, including seasonal weather.
- Ability to follow written, oral, or visual instructions and solve standard problems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
