Job summary

Priority Tire in Charlotte, NC is hiring a full-time Warehouse Delivery Driver. You will deliver products to customers, maintain accurate orders, and ensure safety and compliance with DOT/OSHA regulations.

You will also handle payments, invoices, and light warehouse duties, with typical hours 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, four to five days a week. This role emphasizes independence, reliability, and customer interaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience driving a delivery car, light van, or box truck.
• 25+ years of age with a valid U.S. driver’s license and a clean driving history.
• Strong knowledge of and ability to follow traffic laws and safety practices.
• Ability to explain complex information in clear, easy-to-understand English.
• Ability to lift 25–75 pounds, sit for extended periods, and frequently bend/twist.
• High school diploma preferred; experience in route delivery or warehouse helpful.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers efficiently while following safety, DOT, and OSHA regulations.
• Pull orders, load and secure deliveries, and drive to assigned locations.
• Speak with customers professionally at delivery sites and unload goods correctly.
• Collect and process payments and manage invoices, receipts, and purchase orders.
• Between deliveries, check tires and fluids and schedule routine maintenance on vehicles.
• Assist with warehouse duties such as receiving, storing, and picking inventory, and perform counts.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS OUR WAREHOUSE DELIVERY DRIVER:

In this position, accuracy, safety, and organization will be your top priorities. You'll support timely operations by efficiently delivering products to customers while following all safety, DOT, and OSHA regulations. Following delivery lists, you'll accurately pull orders, safely load and secure deliveries in transport vehicles, and drive the vehicle to the assigned location. At the site, you'll professionally speak with customers and unload deliveries in the correct areas.

You'll collect and process payments and manage all invoices, receipts, payments, and purchase orders. Between deliveries, you'll check your vehicle's tires and fluids and schedule routine maintenance to keep it in running condition. When you're not on a delivery, you'll assist with warehouse duties such as receiving, storing, and picking inventory, completing inventory counts, and other responsibilities as assigned.

YOUR HOURS:

Schedules can vary based on workload, but standard hours are 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, or until deliveries are completed. You'll typically work 4 to 5 days per week, usually Monday - Saturday.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of experience driving a delivery car, light van, or box truck
• 25+ years of age, a valid U.S. driver's license, and a clean driving history
• Strong knowledge of and ability to follow traffic laws
• Ability to explain complex information in clear, easy-to-understand English
• Ability to lift 25 - 75 pounds, sit for extended periods, and frequently bend/twist
• Strong problem-solving skills

It's not required, but our ideal Warehouse Delivery Driver has a high school diploma (or equivalent). Experience in a route delivery, warehouse, or customer service position would also be ideal.
