Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver in Longview, TX. The schedule is Monday–Friday from 8am to 5pm, with hourly pay based on experience. Responsibilities include operating a stand-up forklift, pallet handling, RF device usage, receiving stock, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Delivery duties and vehicle inspections are also part of the role. Requirements include 0–3 years in a warehouse, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is required.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter able to learn systems quickly.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift to pull and prepare outbound orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material.
• Keep the workspace clean, safe, and accident free.
• Deliver materials to customers and assist with loading/unloading.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
