Job summary

Platt Electric Supply seeks a Warehouse Associate/Driver I in Jackson, WY to efficiently fulfill customer orders, receive and stock materials, and support shipping. The role includes operating delivery vehicles up to 50% of the time with no CDL required.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, following procedures, and ensuring accuracy of materials and paperwork while supporting branch operations and inventory control.

Qualifications

• No experience required; warehouse experience a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual Motor Vehicle Record review.
• Must obtain medical certificate verification within 30 days of hire.
• No suspended license within past 3 years.
• No at-fault accidents in past 3 years.
• High School or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety-focused work environment and comply with SOPs.
• Follow Environmental Health and Safety rules and address safety concerns.
• Receive materials from vendors/customers and verify against packing lists.
• Keep incoming orders stocked and report freight damage.
• Prepare branch orders and ensure correct product quantity/type for shipping.
• Process shipment paperwork and ensure proper labeling and courier payment.
• Operate forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine as required.
• Load common carrier and company vehicles for deliveries.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and keep vehicles clean.
• Conduct inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Deliver to customers/branch locations and return with receipts.
• Inspect delivery vehicles and complete daily inspection reports.
• Adhere to DOT and state driving regulations.
