Job summary

North Coast Electric, a Sonepar company, is looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team serving contractors and customers across Oregon and beyond. You will be responsible for safe, accurate delivery of electrical products to job sites and facilities, with opportunities to support multiple North Coast locations and mobile warehouse tasks.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate handheld scanners and related systems.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT).
• Ability to learn the use of handheld scanners and operating systems.
• Good oral & written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• DOT medical card or willing to obtain.
• Self-motivated and teamwork focused.

Responsibilities

• Order Filling/Receiving.
• Improve warehouse cleanliness.
• General warehouse work.
• Safe forklift driving.
• Cutting wire to custom lengths.
• Back-up delivery driver.
• Safe and reliable delivery to customer job sites, industrial locations, and other North Coast Electric locations.
• Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety and vehicle readiness using the Driver's Vehicle Inspection Report.
• Ensure the truck is loaded correctly, secured, and within the weight limit.
• Other duties as assigned.
