Job summary

North Coast, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring a Warehouse Associate Back-up Driver in Salem, Oregon. You will deliver safely to customer sites and North Coast locations, perform pre-route inspections, and help with loading and securing cargo. This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, good communication, and teamwork.

You’ll work a typical 40-hour week with occasional evenings or weekends. North Coast offers strong benefits and opportunities within a large electrical-distribution

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Commitment to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT).
• Ability to learn the use of handheld scanners and operating systems.
• Good oral & written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• DOT medical card or willing to obtain.
• Self-motivated and teamwork focused.

Responsibilities

• Safe and reliable delivery to customer job sites, industrial locations, and other North Coast Electric locations.
• Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety and vehicle readiness using the Driver's Vehicle Inspection Report.
• Ensure the truck is loaded correctly, secured, and within the weight limit.
• Other duties as assigned.
