Job summary

Abatix in Round Rock is seeking a service-minded Warehouse Associate to join our team. You’ll manage shipping and receiving, pull inventory, verify shipments, and help customers while representing Abatix with professionalism.

This role offers a day shift, Monday–Friday, with pay of $20–$21 per hour and opportunities for growth. You will work in a fast-paced environment, operate a forklift, and support deliveries in the Austin area.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and willingness to work with customers to meet needs.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience preferred, in a wireless environment.
• Proficiency with FedEx and UPS online systems; ability to use Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, dependability, punctuality, and organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain forklift and delivery vehicle certifications.
• Valid driver’s license required; ability to lift 60 lbs.
• Ability to kneel, bend and twist as needed in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and pick orders for customers.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Verify contents of orders against shipping papers.
• Safely operate a forklift.
• Count stock items and record data in the computer system.
• Assist customers with loading merchandise.
• Make deliveries in the Austin area in a box truck or van as needed.
