Job summary

Abatix is seeking a service-minded Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver to join our team. You will manage shipping and receiving, pull inventory, and verify shipments. You may deliver products in our company van or box truck, providing friendly, reliable service to customers.

Training is provided for delivery driving. We offer growth opportunities, healthcare plans, bonuses, and ESOP ownership. The role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service mindset and go above and beyond to meet customer needs.
• Two years of driving experience required.
• Ability to use FedEx and UPS online systems.
• Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism.
• Team player who can handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependability, punctuality and organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain forklift certifications.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and kneel, bend and twist as the warehouse requires.
• Experience with stand-up forklift is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries throughout the Seattle area.
• Obey traffic laws and follow established procedures.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle equipment to ensure proper working condition.
• Report mechanical problems with vehicles.
• Load and unload vehicle.
• Verify contents of orders against shipping papers.
• Assist in warehouse facilities.
• Count stock items and record data in the system.
• Assist customers with loading merchandise.
