JOB SUMMARY

Non- Union associates are tasked with various non-union assignments in the warehouse space, including, but not limited to janitorial work, dock sales, breakage, returns, and driver check in duties

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Janitorial

Keep your assigned area clean and free from debris. Clean up plastic and cardboard, sweep and mop floors, scrub floors as needed using the scrubber, bale plastic and cardboard, help keep dunnage organized, load dunnage trucks, as needed.

Breakage/returns

Remove breakage from the floor ensuring it is removed from inventory properly. Help sort breakage and re-pack it as necessary. Put away Good returns, as needed.

Driver Check In

Assist with checking drivers in upon returning from their routes, using the procedures laid out for that process.

MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES

Any other tasks/duties as assigned by the manager. In some cases, Non Union employees will be asked to pick orders for the Order Processing team.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma/GED required
• Clean Background and drug screen required
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass equipment certification testing.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Working hours are Monday-Friday. Must be flexible enough to work some weekends and holidays, if needed.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects without restrictions
• Must be able to work in a wide range of temperatures for an extended period.
• The week before National Holidays are a must to work
• Dress code is casual; OSHA Approved safety shoes are required. The temp in the warehouse can vary depending on where you are working. Dress accordingly.
• While performing the duties of this job, employee is required to stand; balance; walk; climb stairs, sit; use hands to feel and handle objects, tools, or controls, including standard office equipment such as computers, phones, fax machines; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; and have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
