Job summary

Mac Papers + Packaging is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping and receiving in Raleigh/Morrisville, NC. The role involves performing warehousing tasks, operating within Infor M3 and Factory Track, and ensuring accurate, timely processing of orders.

You'll read work orders, prioritize tasks, and move goods through receiving, storage, and shipping areas. A high school diploma and 1 year of warehouse experience are expected; ability to pass drug and background checks is required.

• Must be able to read and communicate in English, for safe and effective performance of the job and business operations.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand work orders and verbal instructions.

• Receive, put-away, move, print and process orders.
• Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallets using an order selector or forklift.
• Move items from receiving or warehouse locations to shipping or designated areas.
• Load and unload pallets containing full cartons and broken lots.
• Stretch-wrap product for safe transportation.
• Mark packages with identifying information.
• Meet weekly productivity and accuracy standards while maintaining safety.

The Warehouse associate is responsible for supporting the shipping and receiving of product in the warehouse. (This is meant to be a guide. Duties may vary dependent upon management.)

Essential Position Functions:

• Read and understand work orders as well as verbal instruction for assignment.
• Interact with internal operating system “Infor M3” and “Factory Track” dependent upon daily assignments.
• Product receiving, product put-away, product movement, order printing and processing.
• Select merchandise for shipment and stack on load pallets using an order selector or forklift.
• Move items from receiving or warehouse locations to shipping or other designated areas.
• Loading and unloading pallets that contain full cartons as well as broken lots.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Stretch-wrap product for safe transportation.
• Mark all packages with proper identifying information.
• Meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy while working in a safe manner. This requires working at a constant pace for an entire shift in a fast-paced environment.
• Daily inspections of warehouse equipment.
• Follow Mac Papers preferred work methods at all times.
• Immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe working conditions.
• May interact with customers.
• Follow all safety policies and protocols as directed by company.
• Other duties as required.
