Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Cycle Counter to maintain accurate inventory in a warehouse setting in the Houston area. You will perform daily cycle counts, verify stock levels, and ensure proper storage and labeling to support material integrity.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently. Bilingual Spanish and English is preferred, and prior experience with inventory systems and cycle counting is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Proven experience with cycle counting and inventory control.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (data entry, inventory systems, and reporting).
• Knowledge of flanges, fittings, and pipe is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily scheduled cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies thoroughly.
• Analyze on-hand inventory and review current/past inventory activity.
• Ensure all materials are properly stored and labeled in designated locations.
• Break down pallets and boxes when required to access or reorganize inventory.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including stand-up forklifts and reach trucks.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
