Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full-Time Sit Down Clamp Forklift Operator/Cycle Counter in Elwood, Illinois.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

  • Hourly Pay: $22.50 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One or more years of warehouse experience preferred
  • One or more years operating forklift equipment preferred
  • One or more years using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred
  • Depending on location, forklift certification may be required
  • Ability to recognize and read location, date, and product codes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and self-motivation to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
Responsibilities
  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits
  • Audit inbound and outbound shipments
  • Participate in physical inventories as needed
  • Support operations staff with inventory issues
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Maintain GMPs with safety emphasis
  • Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
  • Perform other duties as assigned
