Job summary

CJ Logistics America is seeking a Warehouse Customer Service Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse customer operations, assign tasks, and coach team members to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

The role interfaces with operations, inventory and quality teams to resolve issues and provide supervision for Customer Service Specialists. A bachelor’s degree and 2 years supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Proven ability to analyze data and provide recommendations based on analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide data and reporting to the customer, including KPI reporting and commentary.
• Produce and deliver reporting on carrier performance, inbound load quality, consignee performance and volume spike impact.
• Follow up on late orders and product availability; reschedule as needed.
• Address customer requirements shortcomings – quality concerns, volume spikes, etc.
• Handle all customer requests for exception management with Operations.
• Review forecast data with Operations Inventory.
• Evaluate demand against open orders.
• Collaborate with the customer on builds.
• Review labor planning with Workforce Management; analyze underperforming builds.

This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills who enjoys problem-solving, training, and improving processes.

Position Overview

The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for interfacing with the customer to align customer expectations and operational performance. The Customer Service Supervisor will collaborate with the operations, inventory and quality teams to ensure all inventory and quality management issues are identified and resolved appropriately. The Customer Service Supervisor will also provide supervision for the Customer Service Specialists.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide data and reporting to the customer, including regular KPI reporting and commentary
• Produce and deliver reporting using standard CJ Logistics tools in the areas of carrier performance, inbound load quality, consignee performance and volume spike impact (space, profile effects, balancing)
• Follow up on late orders, product availability, carrier rescheduling
• Address customer requirements shortcomings – quality concerns, volume spikes, etc.
• Handle all customer requests for exception management with Operations
• Review forecast data provided by the customer with Operations Inventory
• Evaluate demand against open orders
• Collaborate with the customer on builds
• Review labor planning with Workforce Management; analyze underperforming or inefficient builds

Requirements And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
• Proven ability to analyze data and provide recommendations based on analysis
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Ability to travel as needed

Pay, Benefits and More

• Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am -5:00 pm business hours - Availability outside of office hours as needed
