Ewing Outdoor Supply

is in need of a customer service oriented Warehouse Customer Associate at our Humble Location. The correct new teammate will have a passion for customer service and safety, but also have the ability to hustle and keep up in a fast-paced distribution warehouse, where serving our contractors and customers is our priority.

This position will have delivery and warehouse responsibilities, so the ability to lift 50-70 lbs. is required. We will also build your skill set and product knowledge to help at the sales counter as you grow.

Prior green industry and landscape experience is preferred but not required; we can teach you. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but not mandatory. We value the right team fit.

Responsibilities
  1. Engage customers proactively
  2. Greet and direct customers
  3. Deliver items to various addresses and routes
  4. Follow routes and schedules
  5. Load, unload, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles
  6. Inform customers about products and services
  7. Follow DOT and safety standards
  8. Ensure racks are stocked
  9. Coordinate with team for excellent customer service, especially during peak times
  10. Provide accurate product and service information
  11. Answer customer questions
  12. Conduct price and feature comparisons
  13. Cross-sell products
  14. Provide feedback to the Store Manager
  15. Stay updated on new products/services
Requirements
  1. Customer-oriented with adaptability
  2. Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  3. Basic math skills
  4. Lift 50-70 lbs
  5. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  6. Ability to work in fast-paced environments
  7. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  8. Strong organizational skills
  9. Bonus: Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  10. Ability to operate forklifts and tractors (training available)
  11. Experience as a Customer Service or Sales Associate
  12. Knowledge of inventory procedures
