Warehouse Coordinator/Production Team Member

MSM Inc. is looking to hire new talent for our Warehouse and to support our Production teams. Ideal candidates may have a combination of skills and interests that span across Warehouse, Woodshop, or Graphic Production. We will provide opportunities to learn, grow, or cross-train in those areas based on skills and/or interest.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

WAREHOUSE:

1. Ship and return show materials on a timely basis and according to project plan and internal procedures.
2. Deliver an exceptional level of internal and external customer service.
3. Demonstrate and encourage teamwork to ensure productivity targets are met.
4. Maintain accurate inventory management.
5. Manage the set-up of properties prior to show ship when required.

UTILIZE OR LEARN SKILLS IN THE WOODSHOP AND/OR GRAPHIC PRODUCTION:

Woodshop:

1. Fabricates high-quality HPL laminated cabinets, walls, display cases, etc.
2. Use of standard woodshop equipment such as table saws, routers, air guns, drills, CNC, etc.

Graphic Production:

1. Operates various graphics department equipment including flatbed printers, vinyl plotters, and iCut automated cutters.
2. Help to facilitate the finishing of graphic production including vinyl production and mounting and trimming of digital prints.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT:

1. Pursue continuous learning, set, and achieve personal growth goals each quarter.
2. Lead and manage processes to become an expert source of information company-wide.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Effectively uses a variety of written and oral communication methods.
2. Working knowledge of warehouse management systems, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
3. Ability to load and unload materials and supplies (75 lbs.).
4. Ability to safely operate a fork truck.
5. Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools: cutting, drilling, sanding, laminating, spraying, etc.
6. 2-4 years of warehousing and/or carpentry experience or relevant degree/education.
7. Troubleshooting/problem-solving abilities.
8. Must be a highly motivated self-starter.
9. Must have a sense of urgency to obtain results, consistently meet deadlines and produce.

Compensation Range:

Although MSM Inc. is looking to hire Warehouse talent on our Production team, an ideal candidate may have a combination of skills and interests that span more than just Warehousing (such as Woodshop or Graphic Production) and we will provide opportunities in those areas based on skills and/or interest.
