Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator- Level IV to join the Rocky Mount, NC logistics team. The role focuses on coordinating line stockers, material flow, safety, and on-time delivery within a high-volume warehouse.

You will drive continuous improvement, enforce safety standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory and operations on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure teams have an assigned line stocker for production.
  • Distribute shift material requirements by sub-inventory.
  • Distribute below required inventory report to retrieve actual count of materials.
  • Perform ergonomics exercises and share safety information with the team.
  • Check stations to ensure materials are available at shift start.
  • Order parts critical to the line to prevent downtime.
  • Ensure count sheets are filled out correctly by Linestockers and transactions.
  • Ensure material handlers receive all materials in their lanes.
  • Check cleanliness and organization of the area.
  • Complete “Manifest Not Dropped” report.
  • Material handlers replenish their areas regularly.
  • Ensure team has tools (HHT, markers, knives, forklifts, PPEs).

We are looking for a talented Warehouse Coordinator- Level IV to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount NC

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

College, University or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third party logistics provider management.

  • Ensure all teams have an assigned line stocker for production.

  • Distribute shift material requirements by sub-inventory.

  • Distribute below required inventory report to retrieve actual count of materials.

  • Perform ergo exercises and Share safety info with team.

  • Check stations in assigned teams to ensure materials are available at start of shift

  • To order parts critical to the line to prevent downtime/EOOP.

  • Ensure count sheets are filled out correctly by Linestockers and transactions

  • Ensure the material handlers are receiving all materials in their lanes (Touch it, Drop it)

  • Check cleanliness and organization.

  • Complete “Manifest Not Dropped” report.

  • Material handlers are replenishing their areas at regular intervals.

  • Ensure team has tools (HHT, markers, knives, forklifts, PPEs).

  • Ensure EOOP tasks are done by inventory availability.

  • Use Warehouse-RMEP group chat for updates.

  • Discuss with incoming CLTs to update on any issues in their respective shift from the same issue occurring again

  • Document key events, issues, and updates.
