Cummins Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead for the Henderson, CO distribution facility. You will coordinate daily warehouse operations, lead a team, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement to meet delivery goals.

This role emphasizes developing staff, coordinating inbound/outbound activities, and collaborating with operations and logistics to maintain high performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory control and warehouse processes.

  • Experience with warehouse systems and inventory control methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping activities to meet customer requirements.
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counting and inventory control practices.
  • Operate and direct the operation of warehouse equipment.
  • Monitor workflow and prioritize activities to meet business objectives.
  • Provide daily leadership, direction and coordination for warehouse operations.
  • Promote safety culture and lead safety initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations, logistics and support teams.

Job Summary:

Acts as a formal resource coordinating others. Coordinates operations through interaction with operations management. Coordinates activities for different areas like Inbound, Outbound, Kitting, etc. based on direction from Operations management.

We are looking for a talented Warehouse Team Lead to join our Distribution business in (Henderson, CO).

This role will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Leaddailywarehouseoperations,includingreceiving,storing,picking,packing,andshippingproducts.
  • Provideleadership,direction,andsupporttowarehouseteammemberstomeetsafety,quality,anddeliveryobjectives.
  • Coordinateworkloadsanddelegatetaskstoensureefficientwarehouseoperations.
  • Supportinventoryaccuracythroughcyclecounting,inventorycontrol,andmaterialmanagementprocesses.
  • Conductqualitychecksfordamagedgoods,inventorydiscrepancies,andnon-conformingmaterial.
  • PromoteastrongsafetyculturebyadheringtoCumminsHealth,Safety&Environmentalpoliciesandleadingsafetyinitiatives.
  • Supportemployeetraining,coaching,anddevelopmenttobuildteamcapability.

  • Experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or third-party logistics environments.

  • High school diploma/GED required; additional education in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

College, University or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third party logistics provider management.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
