Responsibilities

  • Under minimal supervision, coordinates operations through interaction with operations management. Coordinates activities for Inbound, Outbound, Kitting, etc.
  • Monitor production and material flow to ensure priority orders and critical operations stay on schedule.
  • Support shipping operations by helping ensure trailer availability and efficient dock utilization. Assist with loading and unloading as required.
  • Maintain communication with receiving personnel and monitor dock activity to ensure inbound material processing remains efficient.
  • Coordinate the preparation, packaging, and shipment of designated outbound loads in accordance with customer and facility requirements.

We are looking for a talented Warehouse Coordinator III to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fletcher, NC.

Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, coordinates operations through interaction with operations management. Coordinates activities for different areas like Inbound, Outbound, Kitting, etc. based on direction from Operations management.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • A two-year University degree from an accredited program in Business, Engineering or a relevant field of study preferred.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third party logistics provider management.
  • Review outstanding tasks and operational issues from the previous shift, conducting necessary follow-up and investigation to ensure completion.
  • Monitor production and material flow to ensure priority orders and critical operations remain on schedule, coordinating with appropriate departments to identify and communicate estimated completion times as needed.
  • Support shipping operations by helping ensure trailer availability and efficient dock utilization. Provide assistance with loading and unloading activities when required.
  • Maintain communication with receiving personnel and monitor dock activity to ensure inbound material processing remains efficient and aligned with operational needs.
  • Coordinate the preparation, packaging, and shipment of designated outbound loads in accordance with customer and facility requirements.
  • Monitor and support outbound shipments to all customer and facility locations, ensuring transportation schedules and shipping commitments are met.
  • Provide general operational support across the facility , assisting team members and performing additional duties as assigned to support business objectives and departmental goals.
  • Advanced proficiency in Oracle and ClearOrbit systems , including shipping and receiving transactions, inventory management, problem resolution, and operational investigations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills , with the ability to analyze large data sets, interpret reports, manipulate data, and present information in a clear, concise, and actionable format.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities , with the capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills , with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization through both face-to-face interactions and digital communication platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under pressure , adapt quickly to changing priorities, and respond effectively to unexpected operational challenges with minimal notice.

Base Rate: $21.49 - $31.28/hr

Shift Premium: $1.00/hr
