Job summary

Shorr Packaging Corp. in West Chicago, IL is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to support receiving, shipping, and warehouse management tasks.

You will schedule inbound dock appointments, prepare receiving documents, and assist with cycle counting and reporting. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years related experience; forklift certification is a plus, and proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 years related experience or training preferred.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jack and lift trucks.
• Microsoft Office proficiency including Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

• Receiving: schedule inbound dock appointments, prepare receiving documents, and verify vendor pack lists.
• Shipping: print pick tickets, obtain freight rates, print packing lists, and coordinate carrier pickups.
• Print reports: stock status, packing slips, and related warehouse documents.
• Process returns and summarize picking/receiving totals; delegate tasks.
• Assist with answering calls and resolving questions from drivers and warehouse staff.
• Order warehouse supplies and assist with picking/receiving when needed.
