Job summary

Job description

Are you self-motivated, organized, mechanically inclined, and someone who takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly? Reimers & Jolivette is looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to serve as a critical resource for our field teams by managing tools, equipment, inventory, deliveries, and facility upkeep.

This hands-on role requires someone who can work independently, prioritize competing requests, anticipate the needs of field crews, and take ownership of maintaining an efficient and organized shop. The ideal candidate understands construction tools and equipment, can perform minor tool repairs and maintenance, manages inventory proactively, and ensures supplies are stocked, organized, and readily available.

Based primarily out of our NW Portland headquarters, this position supports crews throughout the Portland metro area and Southwest Washington, including downtown Portland, through tool and material deliveries, inventory management, and operational support. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and professional shop, yard, and surrounding grounds; utilizing Align software for inventory tracking; and supporting team communication through timely email and phone correspondence.

Successful candidates are dependable problem-solvers who use sound judgment, look for ways to improve processes, and take initiative without waiting for direction. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check are required to meet customer and security requirements. CDL preferred but not required.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for supporting field operations through inventory management, tool and equipment oversight, facility maintenance, and operational support to ensure field crews have the tools, materials and supplies needed for projects.

  • Manages and transfers tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites and vendors.
  • Maintains and orders inventory, supplies, and tools and keeps shop and yard spaces clean and safe.
  • Completes minor building maintenance tasks such as landscaping and safety checks.

Additional Job Duties:

  • Manages and maintains construction tools, equipment, inventory, and field supplies, including stocking, organizing, inventory rotation, minor tool repairs, and accurate tracking through Align software.
  • Anticipate and prioritize the needs of field crews by coordinating deliveries, responding to emails and communications, and ensuring crews have necessary tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, shop, yard, and surrounding grounds through minor landscaping and exterior upkeep.
  • Maintains accurate and complete records of tools delivered, shipped, or transferred to and from job sites.
  • Maintains a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
  • Red tags and removes broken tools and equipment from service.
  • Loads and unloads warehouse vehicles.
  • Maintains or coordinate maintenance for shop vehicles and forklift.
  • Operates warehouse forklift and pallet jack.
  • Assists in the annual warehouse and job site inventory of all tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Respectfully takes direction from General Superintendent and Perlo Warehouse Manager.
  • Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED. One-year certificate from college or technical school; or none to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of email, word processing, and spreadsheet software. Knowledge of Align software preferred.
