Ryder System, Inc. in Owensboro, KY is hiring a Warehouse Management System/Wave Planner to optimize warehouse operations and coordinate with carriers and inventory teams. This role focuses on managing WMS activities, dock scheduling, and ensuring safety and quality KPIs across shifts.

You will work with MS Office tools and WMS systems, participate in training, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced distribution environment in the United States.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel); working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Forklift experience.
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location.

Mansioni

• Support KPI goals for safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance.
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules.
• Communicate with carriers regarding appointments and load statuses.
• Work with Operations Supervisor to distribute workload using WMS on the floor.
• Collaborate with inventory and on-site personnel to resolve order issues.
• Interact with customers to communicate order changes and updates.
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $22.50 per hour
• Schedule: Rotating schedule 3 days one week, 4 days next week. 12 hour shifts

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and upating load statuses
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
• Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve and problems with the day's orders
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
