Ryder System, Inc. in Mt. Sterling, KY is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk Associate to join our team. You will help manage inbound and outbound shipments in a clean, safe warehouse environment, with weekly pay and a range of benefits.

The role requires experience with SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS), good communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Training is provided and career growth opportunities are available within Ryder's supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years or more experience using SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Able to work in a fast-paced, process-driven warehouse environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Check truck drivers in and out.
• Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity per warehouse direction.
• Verify shipping/receiving documentation accuracy and coordinate with inventory.
• Assist in appointment scheduling as needed.
• Update required reports in a timely manner.
• Communicate with customers and assist with needs.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound loads.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $18.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $0.75 per hour Shift Pay
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years or more experience in SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to:
• Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Multi-task, be highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Work independently and as a member of a team
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
• Excellent PC skills in MS Office (intermediate level)
• SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge (intermediate level)
• Safety Sensitive Position. Non-Regulated Tech. Depending on location, may be required to operate equipment and be equipment certified

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of all shipping/receiving documentation. Partner with the inventory department to resolve any issues
• Assist in appointment scheduling as needed

• Coordinate inbound and outbound loads
• Perform other duties as assigned
