Job summary

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring a full-time Warehouse Coordinator in North Bergen, NJ. The role involves loading/unloading trucks, staging furniture for deliveries, and maintaining inventory with strict accuracy.

You will work with RF scanners and forklifts in an onsite distribution center, with a 2:00 PM–10:30 PM schedule and potential Saturday work. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• 5 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• 5 years of inventory management and cycle counting experience preferred.
• Forklift Operator certification preferred; on-the-job certification provided
• Physically able to lift 50+ pounds regularly or 100 pounds with a partner
• Able to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Warehouse Management (WMS) systems
• Must pass drug screening (includes no THC) as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks for daily routes, ensuring no damage and correct item placement.
• Pulling and staging furniture for deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Cleaning, touching up, and repairing furniture to rental-ready condition.
• Maintain and clean the warehouse, including breaking down cardboard and trash disposal.
• Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure accuracy of product movement.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety regulations.
• Assist with end-of-day billing reconciliation to ensure accurate invoicing.
• Participate in special projects and other tasks as assigned.

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring a full-time Warehouse Coordinator in North Bergen, NJ.
The Warehouse Coordinator works closely with the Warehouse Night Shift Manager in the unloading and processing of daily truck deliveries, inventory management, billing reconciliation, and cross-departmental communication and collaboration.
This is an onsite position performed from the CORT distribution center.
Salary: $24.00- $26.50 / hour depending on experience.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:pm- 10:30pm. Saturdays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Loading and Unloading Trucks: Load and unload trucks for daily routes, ensuring no scratches or damage and correct item placement.
• Pulling Furniture for Deliveries: Pull and stage furniture for the next day's deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Furniture Processing: Clean, touch up, and repair furniture to ensure it is rental-ready.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain and clean the warehouse, including breaking down cardboard and dumping trash.
• Inventory Control & Management: Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure accuracy in product movement and storage.
• Safety and Compliance: Participate in safety meetings, perform daily warm-ups, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Billing Reconciliation: Assist with end-of-day billing reconciliation processes to ensure transactions, lease activity, and supporting documentation are accurately completed and aligned prior to billing, minimizing discrepancies and ensuring accurate customer invoicing
• Participate in special projects and other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Warehouse Management (WMS) systems
• Must pass drug screening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment.
