Job summary

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring a full-time Warehouse Coordinator in North Bergen, NJ. The role supports unloading and processing of daily truck deliveries, inventory management, and cross-department collaboration, working onsite at the distribution center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• 5 years of inventory management and cycle counting experience preferred.
• Forklift Operator certification preferred; on-the-job certification provided.
• Physically able to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly or 100 pounds with a partner.
• Able to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Word, and Warehouse Management (WMS) systems.
• Must pass drug screening (does not include THC).

Responsibilities

• Loading and Unloading Trucks: Load and unload trucks for daily routes, ensuring no scratches or damage and correct item placement.
• Pulling Furniture for Deliveries: Pull and stage furniture for the next day's deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Furniture Processing: Clean, touch up, and repair furniture to ensure it is rental-ready.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain and clean the warehouse, including breaking down cardboard and dumping trash.
• Inventory Control & Management: Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure accuracy in product movement and storage.
• Safety and Compliance: Participate in safety meetings, perform daily warm-ups, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Billing Reconciliation: Assist with end-of-day billing reconciliation processes to ensure transactions, lease activity, and supporting documentation are accurately completed.
• Special projects: Participate in special projects and other tasks as assigned.

Overview

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring a full-time Warehouse Coordinator in North Bergen, NJ.

The Warehouse Coordinator works closely with the Warehouse Night Shift Manager in the unloading and processing of daily truck deliveries, inventory management, billing reconciliation, and cross-departmental communication and collaboration.

This is an onsite position performed from the CORT distribution center.

Salary: $24.00- $26.50 / hour depending on experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:pm- 10:30pm. Saturdays may be required.
