Job summary

Diverzify+ is seeking a diligent Warehouse Coordinator in Itasca, IL to manage inventory, prepare orders for distribution, and ensure accurate shipments across our brand-partner network. You will track stock, verify orders, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, assisting customers with will-call pickups, measuring and cutting rolled material, labeling outbound shipments, and performing periodic cycle counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of warehouse distribution experience, preferably in a managerial role.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma and lean management principles is a plus.
• Knowledge of bulk packing and warehouse pick and pack procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers picking up orders at will call
• Measure and cut rolled material as needed per pick ticket
• Tag, organize and put away inbound materials
• Pick, condense and stage outbound materials per pick ticket
• Setup UPS shipments including picking and packing items and shipping material using special hazmat requirements if necessary (UPS training needed for hazmat)
• Communicate and collaborate with PM’s about ongoing orders
• Complete inventory cycle counts 2-3 times per year
• Create and print labels and bill of ladings for outbound shipments
• Fulfill pick tickets within our software IFS to keep inventory accurate

At Diverzify+ and our family of brand partners, we believe our associates are at the heart of our organization. The Warehouse Coordinator is a key role for our business. In this position, you will be responsible for tracking warehouse inventory and ensuring products are shipped out properly. On a daily basis, you will review the orders that need to be filled, designate staff to pull products from the shelves, prepare orders for distribution, and check to make sure the orders are completed accurately and on time. You also will ensure that inventory records are up-to-date and that employees follow all safety guidelines and procedures throughout the warehouse.
