Job summary

NextGen Security is seeking an office-based warehouse/inventory coordinator in Houston, TX for part-time hours 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

The role involves receiving equipment, coordinating shipments, maintaining the warehouse, and assisting with fleet management; a customer-service oriented, professional candidate with MS Office skills is needed.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent degree or experience.
• Customer Service experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more.
• Must be able to climb a ladder.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Receive all delivered equipment daily in accounting software.
• Stage receipts for jobs with Project Managers.
• Organize and maintain a clean, efficient warehouse.
• Coordinate all outbound courier shipments and job site deliveries.
• Manage equipment returns and repairs.
• Oversee warehouse inventory and distribute stock for projects.
• Assist in fleet management for the division.

What You’ll Be Doing

The responsibilities of this position will vary but primarily focus on warehouse and inventory management. The expectation for this employee is that he or she will be in the office every Monday-Friday, 11A - 4P. We are looking for someone who is extremely professional and courteous as this individual will be dealing with customers, vendors, and fellow employees.

Duties

This position is one we hold in high regard to providing the level of service excellence our customers expect and deserve. Specific duties to include:

• Receive all delivered equipment daily in accounting software.
